Adirondack Spruce top, Red Maple flamed back, sides and neck, varnish sunburst finish with French polish, Ebony triple bound fingerboard, triple bound body & peghead, Ebony triple bound abbreviated pickguard, traditional style Ebony bridge, “James” tailpiece with “ Passernig” logo, Golden Age antiqued tuners with Ivoroid buttons and 1 1/8’’ bone nut. We have found no hand made mandolin with these features that can match this instrument and many costing thousands more can touch it. This instrument is full of life with dry open “woody” and “airy” overall sound. Responds in an instant with a lot of “pop and ping.” The best mandolin in this price range we have encountered. Excellent Plus condition -Wide grain Adirondack Spruce top, highly flamed Maple one piece back, sides and neck, gold tuners with Ivoroid buttons, triple side bound body, Ebony bound fingerboard, Gold Collings one piece solid tailpiece and upgraded 1 3/16'' nut width. A very sweet sounding instrument with a big voice. Plenty of power and exquisite warm tone with a great “chop” anywhere on the neck. Beautiful wide grain Red Spruce at the bouts as well as the highly flamed one piece Maple back and shows very little playing wear. This one will deliver. Priced with OHC.
