Rozawood Wartimer D Brazilian Santos Rosewood

New - Handmade in the Czech Republic by Roman Zajicek one of the finest luthiers in Europe and is known for his impeccable tone and high quality workmanship. This instrument is very impressive with outstanding tone and overall sound. Very deep and warm with great response, powerful delivery, excellent clarity and silky playability. The most impressive point to be made is the older “aged” tone and sound it delivers as it mellow, dry & vibrant. The fit and finish is top notch and the tone woods are exceedingly fine. The top is outrageous “Bearclaw” European Alpine Spruce, the back & sides are Brazilian Santos Rosewood, (very similar species to Brazilian & Cocobolo) Brazilian Cherry wood neck, Ebony fingerboard with pearl dots, Curly Maple binding with Rosewood & b/w lines, 1 ¾’’ nut width, Rosewood/Maple rosette, Ebony traditional style bridge, Tortoise grain pickguard, gold Gotoh 301 tuners, gold strap button installed, grained Maple heel cap, 25 11/32’’ scale, double action adjustable truss rod and nitrocellulose finish. This is an extremely high quality instrument both in build & sound and you may want to consider playing this before you spring for that high production instrument. Highly recommended. Comes with Hiscox molded hard case. Introductory price

Altman 1999 A-60C Oak OM Style Cutaway

Excellent condition - An earlier example of Bob Altman’s small body build with Sitka Spruce top, Oak back & sides, Maple body binding, Rosewood bridge and fingerboard, Walnut hand made pickguard, Abalone rosette, 1 ¾’’ nut width and Grover Rotomatic tuners. This is one strong sounding smaller body guitar and is full of rich sound with deep warm low end, “popping” midrange and sweet clear high end. This instrument is quite surprising for it’s size and this wood combination as it has the sound and tone of a very old Rosewood guitar but is so powerful with that “booming” bass plus the clarity is incredible. Setup for a bridge pickup with a end pin jack already installed. This is an extremely fine hand made instrument with great playability, but the sound is really ear catching. Priced with hard case.
